Often our lives are so busy we do not get to connect with the people who live the closest to us. This is especially true in big cities, where everyone comes and goes at different times of the day, and neighbours move in and out of our streets. Research has shown that well-being is higher amongst people who have regular contact with their neighbours, and that getting to know people in your local area, even to just say hello, can have a big impact on how secure and happy we feel. As part of the Heart of the Heatons Festival, LOVE Heaton Chapel would like to invite you to come to a social event for all those living in Heaton Chapel. We would like to encourage you to invite one of your neighbours who might not be getting out that often, or who you would like to get to know better, or who you think would like to be involved in LOVE Heaton Chapel. Look forward to seeing you there!
